A wedding ceremony
in connection with nature

... Or have him/her take a zodiac to an island in the middle of the St. Lawrence River to perform a wedding ceremony?

Or how do you find a wedding officiant that you will click with when you're from another province or country ?

This was one of the challenges our couples often faced when we first started organizing and photographing intimate weddings and elopements all over the province of Quebec: how to find a wedding officiant far from major urban centers.

How to find a wedding officiant

Who would agree to climb a mountain at sunrise...

"It was a no-brainer! It was the perfect solution, since we were already there to photograph our couples' weddings. I took the required celebrant training and voilà!

Ever since my very first ceremony, I've felt just in the right place, there's something completely natural, strong and joyful expressing itself through me.

I love having the opportunity to create a bubble of love, happiness and joy around the two of you, to be an integral part of it, to be a privileged witness to your tears of joy, your palpable nervousness, and also your confidence in saying the words that will bind you together forever."

- Josée, Love is Nord photographer & wedding officiant
